Trending: The Return of Crimped Hair

Crimped hair has been popping up all over the place lately...from the runways to hair shows and even in Hollywood. When I first noticed its comeback I began to shudder as I had a flashback to the hairstyles I sported in Junior High. I couldn't imagine busting out the ol' crimping iron once again to recreate this look.

The more I saw it though, I realized this is something I can do to enhance my styles. Texture is huge right now; as we all know beachy waves are all the rage & have allowed many girls to embrace the natural formation of their hair. I'm all for ways of changing up my normal routine.

I like the idea of adding a few zig-zags in an updo. Thoughtfully placed, a few crimped stands can add elegance and allure to a style. Check out these crimped styles...
